Baytugan ( Kazakh. Baytugan ) is a village in the Nurinsky district of the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the Novokarpovsk rural district. It is located about 13 km northwest of the district center, the village of Nura . The KATO code is 355267100 [1] .

It was founded in 1920 [2] .
Population
In 1999, the village population was 1359 people (688 men and 671 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 1,052 people lived in the village (524 men and 528 women) [3] .
