Russian Ice Hockey Championship 1995/1996

The Russian women's ice hockey championship 1995/1996 was the first women's national championship. It was held from September 20, 1995 to February 12, 1996 . The national championship was attended by six teams. The championship was held on the touring system - in three stages, which took place alternately in Moscow (September 20–25, 1995), Yekaterinburg (December 5–10, 1995) and Omsk (February 7–12, 1996) - at each stage all teams conducted five matches (one game with each of the rivals).

Luzhniki AO Moscow became the champion of Russia, winning the championship in all matches, Yerochka-Avto HC Yekaterinburg won silver medals, and Lokomotiv HC Krasnoyarsk won bronze medals. The top scorer of the championship was Yulia Perova (Luzhniki AO).
