Hoog Lars

Lars Høgh ( Dat. Lars Høgh ; January 14, 1959 , Odense ) is a Danish footballer , a goalkeeper known for playing for Odense and the Danish national team . Participant in the 1986 World Cup and 1996 European Championship .

Club career

Hog was born in Odense and spent his entire career in the local club Odense . He is the champion of the club in the number of matches. During his career in all tournaments for the team, Lars played about 1000 matches. In 1977, he was included in the application for the season as a reserve goalkeeper. In the same year, Hoig won his first Danish championship . In total, he won the Danish championship three times and won the Danish Cup three times. Lars has been recognized as Denmark’s best goalkeeper five times, this achievement is still not beaten. In 2000, at the age of 41, Hoig ended his career as a football player; the Odense management offered him the position of team sports director. In 2008, he became the goalkeeper coach.

International Career

In 1983, Lars made his debut for the Danish national team . In 1986, he was included in the application of the national team for participation in the World Championship .
