Maserati Ghibli III is a business class sedan of the Italian company Maserati , which went on sale in the second half of 2013. It is produced at the factory in Grulyasco along with the sixth generation of the Maserati Quattroporte . 20,000 cars [1] are expected to be produced annually at a price of about 65 thousand dollars [2] .

The company had previously used the Ghibli name for its Gran Turismo class cars.
Ghibli III became the best car in the class in 2013 according to Euro NCAP [3] .

Appearance
The manufacturer expressed its intentions to release a car of a lower price category in 2008 [4] . A few years later, after joining the Fiat Chrysler , in 2012 the company announced that the new “cheap” sedan will be built on the basis of the Chrysler 300 , and will also have diesel and gasoline engines and a gearbox from ZF [5] . By November, the release date and official name became known [6] . By the end of the year, spy images of a car undergoing winter trials appeared [7] . Then, in April, the company showed official images of the exterior and interior of the sedan. The car was presented at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show [8] .
Specifications
The car has 3-liter turbocharged gasoline and diesel V-shaped six-cylinder engines . The Ghibli, Ghibli s, and Ghibli S Q4 versions also have gas engines, while the Ghibli Diesel version has diesel engines. All of them are combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission [9] . Suspension, front and rear independent multi-link with anti-roll bar .
