Geographical position
The village of Borovaya is located 19 km south of the city of Bobruisk, Mogilev region, on the Bobruisk-Mozyr highway, 10 km from Krasny Brod station on the Bobruisk-Rabkor railway line.
Settlement Planning
The layout of Borovaya streets developed along the Bobruisk-Mozyr highway, a section of which is the main street of the village. Two second-rate streets are perpendicular to the road. The building is wooden, double-sided, manor type.

History
It was first mentioned in 1639 in the household inventories of the Bobruisk elder as the village of Borovoye. In the XVII-XVIII centuries it was part of the Bobruisk volost of the Rechitsa district of the Minsk Voivodeship of the Commonwealth.
In the middle of the XIX century. - beginning of XX century in the village of Borovaya a postal station operated.
