Biography
Andrzej Shchepkovsky was born in the city of Sucha-Beskidzka . During the Second World War, he lived in Lviv and received a Soviet matriculation certificate there. He received his theater education at the Actors Studio at the Old Theater in Krakow , which he graduated in 1945. Theater actor in Krakow , Poznan , Katowice and Warsaw . He performed in performances of the Polish "theater of television" in 1955-1995 and in radio shows of the "Theater of Polish Radio". Lecturer of the Theater Academy. A. Zelverovich in Warsaw since 1967. Chairman of the Union of Cultural and Art Workers (1964-1968); Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the Union of Actors of Polish Scenes (1975-1982). Director of the Drama Theater in Warsaw (1966-1968). Member of the Senate of Poland of the I convocation (1989-1991). He died in Warsaw. He was buried in the Old Powzki cemetery.
His father-in-law is the writer Jan Parandovsky , his daughter is the actress Joanna Schepkovskaya .
