Game career
Oleg Sych was born in Odessa. He started playing football in the Sports School "Chernomorets", where his first coach was George Bursakov. After graduating from school, Oleg was taken to the double of Chernomorets. Then he played in the local SKA, again in the “Chernomorets”, Nikopol “Ear”. In the major league of the USSR, as part of Chornomorets , he entered the field in 23 matches. In “ Shipbuilder ” Sycha was invited by the head coach Evgeny Kucherevsky . The debut for the "shipbuilders" took place on April 11, 1985 in Odessa in a match with SKA . For seven seasons in the center of defense of the Nikolaev team spent 261 games, scored three goals. In many matches he led the team to the field with a captain's armband. In 1985 he was included in the list of “22 best players of the second league” in the position of “front center back”.
