Institute of Reactor Materials

The Institute of Reactor Materials (IRM JSC) is a Russian nuclear center located in the Urals and having a material science profile. Belongs to Rosatom State Corporation . The Institute began its activities in 1966 - in April of this year, the IVV-2 reactor was physically launched. The institute is located in the city of Zarechny in the Urals , 50 km east of Yekaterinburg , on the territory of the first stage of the Beloyarsk NPP .
