Content
History
During the Great French Revolution, the commune, which bore the name Saint-Hilaire, was temporarily renamed Montafeille ( Fr. Montfayet ). In 1919, the commune received the name of Saint-Hillers-sous-Romilly.

Economy
In 2007, among 225 people of working age (15–64 years old), 157 were economically active , 68 were inactive (activity rate was 69.8%, in 1999 it was 71.2%).
