Rostromyrmex (lat.) - a genus of ants from the subfamily of myrmycin ( Myrmicinae , Stenammini ). Southeast Asia ^[1] .

Description

Small earth ants of brown color. Posterothorax with propodeal spines. The antennae of females and workers are 9-segmented, the club 3-segmented (the antennae of males consist of 10 segments). Zhval workers with 6-8 teeth. The mandibular palps are 2-segmented, the lower labial palps are composed of 2 segments. Shins of middle and hind legs without apical spurs. The stalk between the breast and the abdomen consists of two segments ( petiol + postpetiol) ^[2] .
