The area is located south of the central part of Turku.
Population
In 2004, the population of the district was 1,282 people, of whom children under the age of 15 accounted for 23.63%, and over 65 years of age - 8.50%. 91,73% owned Finnish as their mother tongue, 5,15% - Swedish, and 3,12% of the district population - in other languages.
