Zharly ( Kaz. Zharly ) is a village in the Karkaraly district of the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the rural district of Nurken. It is located on the Zharly River, approximately 32 km southwest of the district center, the city of Karkaraly . The KATO code is 354853100 [1] .

Population
In 1999, the village population was 1,561 people (795 men and 766 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 1,407 people lived in the village (707 men and 700 women) [2] .
