Geographical position
The village of Ivanovka is located 16 km south-east of the city of Bobruisk, Mogilev region, on the highway N10086 Sloboda-Plessa, 4 km south of the highway R-43 Ivatsevichi-Krichev-border of the Russian Federation, 2.5 km north of the highway M-5 Minsk-Gomel road, 3 km from the Malinniki stopping point on the Bobruisk-Zhlobin railway line.
History
Known since the 19th century. In 1897, there were 1 farmsteads and 27 inhabitants in the Turkuivsky volost of the Bobruisk district of the Minsk province. In 1917 the estate. Since 1922, the village of Ivanovka. March 4, 1924, an agricultural artel was created in the former farm. In 1926, 13 yards. In 1930, a collective farm was organized in the village. At the fronts of World War II and in partisan battles, 57 fellow countrymen were killed. In the postwar years, the villages of Nayledbin, Selyanin, October 10, Culture were attached to Ivanovka. Historical Monuments
In the center of Ivanovka, in memory of 57 fellow countrymen who died on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War and in the partisan struggle against the Nazi invaders, in 1976 a monument was erected - 3 bayonet-pylons, at the base of which are steles with the names of the dead. At the beginning of the XXI century, the monument to compatriots was reconstructed.
Street Planning
The main rectilinear street of the village is oriented from north to south for a length of about 3.5 km and is built up on both sides with mostly wooden manor houses.
