History
Guerrilla Cambridge (formerly SCE Cambridge Studio) is part of SCE Worldwide Studios , was established in July 1997 . The studio is mainly known for the MediEvil series of games for the PlayStation and the PlayStation Portable . On January 10, 2013, Sony Computer Entertainment restructured the studio to work with Guerrilla Games to make Killzone: Mercenary for the PlayStation Vita . Sony Computer Entertainment renamed SCE Cambridge Studio to Guerrilla Cambridge and is now a subsidiary of Guerrilla Games.
January 12, 2017, Sony announced the closure of the studio Guerrilla Cambridge. Employees will be redirected to other studios. [one]
Abbreviations
In early 2014, a wave of abbreviations reached Guerrilla Cambridge. The official statement says that this reduction is a reflection of the ever-changing market conditions, and that this is a necessary measure in order to remain competitive and create high-quality, innovative and commercially viable projects.
