Atasu ( kaz. Atasu ) is a village in the Zhanaarkinsky district of the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan . Administrative Center Baidaly Biysk rural district. It is located about 17 km west-south-west (WSW) from Atasu , the administrative center of the district. The KATO code is 354449100 [1] .

In 1999, the population of the village was 1037 people (605 men and 432 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 887 people lived in the village (461 men and 426 women) [2] .
