Grigory Timofeevich Krikun ( August 12, 1906 , the village of Kamyshevatoe (now Kirovograd Oblast ) - May 28, 1971 , Kiev ) is a Ukrainian Soviet documentary director , member of the Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine .

Biography
Born on August 12, 1906 in the village of Kamyshevatoye (now the Novoukrainsky district of the Kirovograd region ) in a peasant family.
In 1926 he graduated from the Kiev Pedagogical Technical School , in 1934 - the directing department of the Kiev Film Institute , he also studied in graduate school with him. He was a trainee director in Alexander Dovzhenko ’s film “ Ivan .”
In 1935 - 1940 and 1954 - 1959 he worked at the Kiev studio of feature films , and in 1941 - 1951, and since 1960 - at the Kiev studio of popular science films.
At the studio "Kievnauchfilm" put about 20 techno-propaganda and popular science films.
He taught at the film faculty at the Kiev Theater Institute . He was awarded medals.
Died May 28, 1971 in Kiev . He was buried at Baikovo Cemetery (station number 21).
