Axinidris (lat.) - the genus of ants of the subfamily dolichoderina ( Dolichoderinae , Tapinomini ). Afrotropics (from Sudan to South Africa ). More than 20 species [2] [3] .

Description
Small earthen ants are usually brown in color (from yellow to brownish-black). The antennae of females and workers are 12-segmented (in males, antennas consist of 13 segments). Zhval workers with 7-12 teeth. The mandibular palps are 6-segmented, the lower labial palps are composed of 4 segments. Shins of middle and hind legs with one apical spur. The stalk between the breast and the abdomen consists of one segment ( petiol ). Sometimes isolated in a separate tribe Axinidrini [2] [3] [4] [5] .
