Chkalovo ( trek. Chkalovo ) is a village in the Bukhar-Zhyrau district of the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Samarkand rural district. It is located about 60 km west of the district center, the village of Botakara . The KATO code is 354063300 [1] .

In 1999, the village population was 330 people (155 men and 175 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 353 people lived in the village (175 men and 178 women) [2] .
