In October 2015, Lufthansa will launch a new low-cost carrier, created on the basis of Eurowings through a merger with Germanwings . After the restructuring, the combined airline will operate under the Eurowings brand and use the Germanwings fleet and route network. It is assumed that in the future the network of the new low-bonfire will be expanded further by opening long-haul flights using wide-body aircraft. The first foreign base of the airport will be Vienna Airport [1] .
