The Laue method is a method for studying the structure of crystals using x-rays.
The method is named after the German physicist Max von Laue , at the suggestion of which in 1912 the physicists Walter Friedrich and Paul Knipping conducted an experiment.
The resulting diffraction image is called a lauegram.
