Content
Botanical Description
Annual or perennial , herbaceous plants, pubescent with simple and glandular hairs . The leaves are whole or pinnate.
Flowers are collected in a brush. Sepals are straight. The petals are long-nosed, the limb is widened, rounded, yellow, lilac or purple. Stamens free, with nectaries at the base. The ovary is sessile. The fruit is a non-expanding, cylindrical, wavy-tuberous, jointed, two-row pod . Seeds bordered, flat. The cotyledons are flat, the root is rootless.
