Biography
Representative of the Polish magnate family of the Ossolian coat of arms " Ax ". The second son of Kashtelian Gostynsky Jan Stanislav Ossolinsky ( 1689 - 1770 ) and Ludwika Zaluska (d. After 1758 ). Brother - the headman of Sulejuv Antony Ossolinsky (d. Before 1788 ).
His cousin, Jozef Kanty Ossolinsky, at the request of his father Frantisek Maximilian Ossolinsky in 1759 transferred the estate of Rudka with surroundings to Alexander Matsey. From his father, Alexander Maciej Ossolinsky inherited the estates of Mokoboda and Vyshkuv .
In 1739, the young Alexander Maciej Ossolinsky was sent by his parents to Luneville (Lorraine), to his uncle, duke and peer of France Frantisek Maximilian Ossolinsky . In Luneville, he became the favorite of Frantisek Maximilian, who affectionately called him Oles. After returning to his homeland in 1742, he settled on his father’s estates and soon received the Drochichinskoye village headquarters . He chose the Rudka estate as his residence, in which in 1763 he reconstructed the old Ossolinsky palace. In 1788 he completed the construction of a parish church in Wyszkow .
In 1764 he became a member of the Czartoryski Confederation and was elected ambassador to the provocative Sejm from . After the election of Stanislav Augustus Poniatowski, Alexander Ossolinsky received from him several posts in Podlasie , where he took part in Zemsky seymics. In 1766 he was elected ambassador from the Drohichinskaya land to the Chaplits Diet . In 1775 he became a holder of the Order of St. Stanislav . In the same 1775 he received the post of Great Lithuanian swordsman. October 8, 1777 was awarded the Order of the White Eagle .
Family
Alexander Maciej Ossolinsky was twice married. In 1752, he married his first marriage to Kunegund Domba ( 1726 - 1753 ), from whom he had no children.
On September 9, 1757, he married Benedict Antonin de Levendal ( 1735 - 1778 ), daughter of Ulrich Friedrich Voldemar de Levendal ( 1700 - 1755 ), Marshal of France, and Barbara Šembek ( 1705 - 1768 ). Children:

- Jozef Kayetan Ossolinsky ( 1764 - 1834 ), headman of Sandomierz , Kasteljan Podlaski , senator - governor of the Kingdom of Poland
- Anna Ossolinskaya (1759-1843), the first husband from 1774, governor of Podlaski, Jozef Saleziy Ossolinsky (d. 1789 ), the second husband from 1782, the famous grand crowned Kazimir Krasinsky ( 1725 - 1802 ).
