Villa O'Higgins ( Spanish. Villa O'Higgins ) is a village located in the province of Captain Prat of the Aisen del General-Carlos Ibáñez del Campo region in southern Chile at the mouth of the Mayer River. The capital of the commune is O'Higgins . Named in honor of the Chilean national hero Bernardo O'Higgins . Population - 450 people. Founded in 1966.

Villa O'Higgins
The settlement is located at the end point of the South Road (Carretera Austral) at a distance of 1240 km from the city of Puerto Montt .
Tourism
The village provides tourist opportunities, including fishing, horse riding, mountaineering , trekking , photographing and observing vegetation, animals and birds. The main attractions are the glaciers, Lake O'Higgins and diverse Patagonian nature.
