Biography
She began writing her first poems at school, at the age of twelve. After school, she graduated from the Michurinsky State Pedagogical Institute and entered the postgraduate school of the MPU , defended her dissertation on the materials of the works of N.S. Leskov , becoming a candidate of philological sciences. In the same period I started writing lyrics and offering them to various artists. The very first song to poems by Kulanina was written by composer Nikolai Pogodaev and performed by singer Sergei Izbash. This composition was entitled "Let the music for us finish". [7] Soon, many composers became co-authors of Olga Kulanina, including Vyacheslav Dobrynin , Mark Minkov , [8] Ekaterina Semenova , Alexander Rogachev , Juliana Donskaya , Vadim Ptashinsky, Olga Stelmach , [9] and since 1999 [7 ] began her creative collaboration with the singer and composer Andrei Kosinsky . To date, the songs on Kulanina poems included in the repertoire of Irina Allegrova , Alsou , Alyona Apina , Lima Vajkule , Nikolai Baskov , Xenia Georgiadi , Nicholas Karachentsova , Larisa Dolina , of Yaroslav Evdokimov , Jasmine , Elena Sparrow , Lev Leshchenko , Alexander Malinin , Christina Aguilera , Marina Khlebnikova [10] [11] [5] and other famous artists. Video clips were shot on some of these songs (“Over the Fog”, “We must live”, “Christ is Risen!”, “Christmas Russia”, “Under the feet of flowers”, “Evpatoria”). [7] At the end of 2012, Kulanina wrote the lyrics of the song “Armenia” for an international musical project, which was attended by stars from different parts of the world who have Armenian roots, including Dmitry Kharatyan , Bedros Kirkorov , Zara , Abraham Russo , Eva Rivas and many others. The song was performed by a young Armenian singer Varda . [12]
Currently, Olga Kulanina writes songs for various television projects, [7] participates as a jury in music television competitions, [1] lives in the city of Korolev .
