Ilpoinen ( Fin. Ilpoinen , Swede. Ilpois ) is one of the central districts of the city of Turku , part of the Scansi-Wittamo district .

Geographical position
The area is located southeast of the central part of Turku, approximately five kilometers from the central square .
Population
In 2004, the population of the district was 2,889 people, of which children younger than 15 years old accounted for 15.26%, and over 65 years old - 15.99%. 91.03% owned Finnish as their mother tongue, Swedish - 6.30%, and other languages - 2.67% of the district’s population.
