History
Podgortsevo rural settlement was established on January 1, 2006 in accordance with the Law of the Kirov region dated December 7, 2004 No. 284-ZO [2] .
On July 25, 2012, by the Law of the Kirov region No. 181-ZO [3] , all settlements of the abolished Vysokovsky and Monastic rural settlements are included in the settlement.
