History
It was first mentioned in the Scribe Book of the Vodskaya Pyatina of 1500 in the Ilyinsky Zamozhsky Pogost in Begunitsy as the village of Rykulitsi [2] .
Then, as the village of Rikulitza by in Zamozhsky churchyard in the Swedish "Scribe books of Izhora land" from 1618-1623 [3] .
The map of Ingermanland by A. I. Bergenheim , compiled from Swedish materials in 1676, shows the village of Rukowits [4] .
On the Swedish "General Map of the Province of Ingermanland" in 1704, the village of Ruokolitsbÿ [5] .
As the village of Ruhovitsy is indicated on the “Geographical Drawing of Izhora Land” by Adrian Schonbeck in 1705 [6] .
As the village of Rukunits is mentioned on the map of Ingermanland A. Rostovtsev in 1727 [7] .
On the map of the St. Petersburg province of J.F. Schmit, 1770 is referred to as the village of Rypulitsy [8] .
The village of Rakulitsy , consisting of 32 peasant households , is indicated on the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834 [9] .
RAKULITSY - the village belongs to the state adviser Peft , the number of inhabitants under the audit: 52 m. p. (1838) [10]
The village of Rakulitsy of 32 courtyards is indicated on the map of F. F. Schubert in 1844 [11] .
In the explanatory text to the ethnographic map of the St. Petersburg province of P. I. Köppen in 1849, it is recorded as the village of Rukolitz oder Rukkolitz ( Rukulitsy ) and the number of its inhabitants for 1848 is indicated: Izhora - 37 m., 47 w. n., a total of 84 people, as well as 9 people of Ingermanlanders - euryametes [12] .
According to the 9th revision of 1850, the village of Rakulitsy belonged to the landowner Anna Nikolaevna Dubelt [13] .
RAKULITSY - the village of Colonel Dubelt, on a country road, the number of yards - 15, the number of souls - 34 m. (1856) [14]
According to the 10th revision of 1856, the village was called Rakulitsy and belonged to the landowner Nikolai Leontyevich Dubelt [15] .

According to the “Topographic Map of Parts of the St. Petersburg and Vyborg Provinces” of 1860, the village was called Rakulitsy and consisted of 20 peasant households and a church [16] .
RAKULITSY - the owner's village at the pond, on the right side of the Narva Highway, 55 versts from Peterhof, the number of yards - 24, the number of inhabitants: 40 m., 46 railways. p. (1862) [17]
In 1873-1874, temporarily liable peasants of the village bought their land allotments from N. A. Dubelt and became the owners of the land [18] .
In the 19th and early 20th centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Begunitsky volost of the 2nd camp of the Peterhof district of the St. Petersburg province.
According to the "Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province" for 1905, 250 acres of land in the village of Vlasovo belonged to the "Society of Peasants of the Village of Rukulitsy" [19] .
From 1917 to 1922, the village of Rukulitsy was part of the Rukulitsky village council of the Begunitsky volost of Peterhof district .
Since 1922, as part of the Mestanovsky Village Council.
Since 1923, as part of the Gatchina district .
Since 1927, as part of the Volosovsky district.
In 1928, the population of the village of Rukulitsy was 156 people [20] .
According to 1933, the village of Rukulitsy was part of the Mestanovsky village council of the Volosovsky district [21] .
According to the topographic map of 1938, the village numbered 28 yards, there was a school in the village.
From August 1, 1941 to December 31, 1943 the village was under occupation.
Since 1963, in the Kingisepp district .
Since 1965, again as part of the Volosovsky district. In 1965, the population of the village of Rukulitsy was 65 people [20] .
According to 1966, the village of Rukulitsy was also part of the Mestanovsky village council [22] .
According to the administrative data of 1973 and 1990, the village of Rukulitsy was part of the Begunitsky village council [23] [24] .
In 1997, 9 people lived in the village of Rukulitsy , in 2002 - 16 people (Russians - 94%), in 2007 - 4 [25] [26] [27] .

The village is located in the northern part of the region west of the highway 41K-014 ( Volosovo - Kernovo).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 8 km [27] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Volosovo is 36 km [22] .
