Sports Biography
At the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, the German national team with Jacobi was able to reach the decisive matches, taking 1st place in their group and winning 5 victories in 5 matches. However, in the semifinals of the Olympic tournament, the Germans lost to the future champions of the Yugoslav national team 10:14, and in the match for the bronze medal the German national team also lost to the USSR national team 13:14 and took 4th place. Jacobi took part in all 7 matches and became the author of one of the goals scored against the South Korean team.
Also in 1986, Jacobi as part of the German national team took part in the first Goodwill Games . At the tournament, the German team was close to getting into the top three winners, but in the end took 4th place.
