Competitions were held in Budapest , Hungary from July 8 to July 14, 2013. The tournament was part of the WTA European Summer Dirt Series. Due to the effects of the flood that struck the region in early June, [1] the organizers were not able to properly prepare all the courts and were forced to cancel the singles qualification tournament, and the double prize was shortened to eight teams (instead of the standard sixteen).
