Biography
He was born in Orlovat the youngest son of a priest Pyotr Predich and his wife Maria (nee Ilievich from Cerepay) [4] [5] . Here he graduated from a local elementary school, then studied at a German school in Crepaia. In 1876 he graduated from high school in Pancevo (this school was subsequently named after him). As a gifted student, he was given a Matitsi scholarship, to which he went to study art skills in Vienna . In 1880 he graduated from the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts . He studied in the class of Christian Gripenkerl , and in 1882 he worked in his workshop.
In 1885, he returned to Orlovat, where he painted a series of paintings about the life of fellow villagers. From 1909 until his death he lived and worked in Belgrade .
Creativity
His first exhibition was held in 1888 in Belgrade.
He painted 13 paintings of mythological content for the building of the Austrian parliament.
His most famous painting is the Kosovo girl dedicated to the Battle of Kosovo .
