Description

Small insects, length 1.4-3.8 mm. Associated with Potentilla , Artemisia and Carex plants. The subfamily Macropodaphidinae includes the only modern genus Macropodaphis . The fossil genus † Megapodaphis Heie, 1967 is brought together with 3 species ( frontalis †, hauniae † (Heie, 1967) and monstrabilis † Heie, 1967) [2] [3] [4] .
