Career

Club

He started his professional career in “ America ” from Rio de Janeiro , in 2001–2002 he rented out to “ Sport Recife ”. After several years in his native country, he moves for half a year to Spain , where he stands for Mataro . In 2005-2006 he played for the Portuguese Estoril-Praia . Then he moved to Iran . In 2006, Carvalho signed a 2-year contract with the Iranian Pro-League team Zob Ahan , moving from the Portuguese Segunda Club Estoril-Praia. In Iran, Carvalho, known as Fabio, became a favorite among Zob Akhan fans. After fierce competition from Andy Iss's African colleague, Fabio moved to the second division of Iranian football, Azadegan League [1] . In the 2008/2009 season, he signed a 2-year contract with the Azagedan League Aluminum Arak League club, which was coached by Javad Zarinche . In the same season, he was named the best goalkeeper of Azadegan Ligi 1 (second division of Iran). In 2009, Fabio Carvalho joined the club " Mes Rafsanjan " by the end of the season, and thanks to a beaten-off penalty, he helped his club reach the semi-finals of the Hazfi Cup .

Personal life

While speaking in Iran, he became interested in the country's culture . Soon, he converted to Islam and married Iranian Simin Jafari when he performed at the Zob Akhan club in Isfahan . They have a daughter, Isabella Jafari Carvalho dos Santos [2] . Fabio changed his name to “Alireza” after Shiite conversion to Islam.
