"Paris" - a sailing 110-gun battleship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet . One of the three 110-gun ships of the Poltava type, built at the Kherson shipyard by M. I. Surovtsov for the Black Sea Fleet. It was named in honor of the entry of the Allied forces into the French capital on March 18, 1814 [1] .

Service History
The ship "Paris" was laid in Kherson and, after launching, became part of the Black Sea Fleet . In 1815, under the command of Lieutenant Commander I.I. Stozhevsky, he moved from Kherson to Ochakov , and then to Sevastopol .
As part of the squadron was in practical voyages in the Black Sea in 1817 - 1820 .
May 18, 1818 , during a visit to the Black Sea Fleet by Alexander I , the Imperial standard was raised on the ship. The emperor dined with the officers [1] , and Rear Admiral P. M. Rozhnov personally granted the Order of St. Vladimir the 3rd degree [2] to the ship’s commander.
I did not go out to sea anymore, I was in the Sevastopol port. In 1827, the ship "Paris" was converted into a blockchain [1] .
