The first mention of the Boris-Gleb Church in the village of Kuryatnikovo dates back to 1564. A new, wooden temple was built in 1593, but at the beginning of the 19th century it burned down in a fire and in 1809 the construction of a modern building began. The temple, such as an octagon on a quadruple , with a three-tier bell tower, was consecrated in 1816, in 1831 a chapel was built in the name of the prophet Elijah, and in 1857 - the chapel of the Tikhvin Mother of God.
The temple was closed in 1935, returned to the church in 2001, since 2002, repairs have been made.
