In 1995, Gonzalez signed a contract with the Uruguayan club “ Court of America ”, but in 28 months he spent only one goal for the club, with no goals scored. In 1997, he was leased to Huracan ( Corrientes ), where he played three games without scoring a goal. Then he returned to the "Court of America", where he performed in the starting lineup. He played 12 times and scored one goal. In 2000, after the expiration of his contract, as a free agent, he moved to Deportivo Maldonado , where he played 22 matches and scored one goal. He started playing in Indonesia in 2003, joining PSM Makassar , in the debut season he scored 27 goals, becoming the country's vice-champion this season with the club. In 2008, he was sentenced to a suspension by the Indonesia Football Association for unsportsmanlike conduct. The financial crisis at Peach Kediri prompted the club to lower salaries. Gonzalez was one of the few players who was against this decision and was looking for another club. On January 30, 2009, Persib Bandung management announced that they had signed Gonzalez with a remission from the Football Federation, led by chairman Nurdin Khalid. Gonzalez was contracted as a lease from Peach Kediri and Persib Bandung paid 60 million rupees for it the same month. He made his debut as a main player in the Super League in a match against Persipur Jayapur the match in which Gonzalez scored a goal ended with a score of 1: 1. In 2008, he played 16 games in the league and scored 14 goals, making Gonzalez the top scorer in the Super League. After his contract with Peach Kediri expired, he was immediately signed with Persib Bandung. In 2009-10, before the start of the season, he scored a goal for Persib in the East Java Government Cup. In the 2009–10 season, he scored 29 goals in all tournaments. In September 2011, he joined the Persis Putra Samarinda . After his contract with the Persians expired. He joined Arema , where he performed at number 10.
