Bashirov, Lyoma Akhmadovich

Born May 16, 1936 in the village of Predgornoye , Grozny district of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic ^{[1] [3]} .

After a brilliant graduation from high school, he worked as a laborer at the Grozny Repair and Construction Administration ^[3] .

In 1963 he graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov . ^{[3] [4]}

He worked as a literary employee of the newspaper " Grozny Worker " ^[3] .

In 1971 - 1972 - editor of the youth newspaper of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic "Komsomol tribe" ^[3] .

In 1972-1975 he studied at the graduate school of the Academy of Social Sciences under the Central Committee of the CPSU ^[4] .

In 1975 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of philosophical sciences.

In 1975–1991 - referent, senior researcher at the Institute of Scientific Atheism of the Academy of Social Sciences under the Central Committee of the CPSU ^[4] .

In 1994 - 2009, he was an assistant professor at the Department of State-Confessional Relations of the RAGS under the President of the Russian Federation ; Consultant professor at the RAGS Methodological Center under the President of the Russian Federation ^[4] .

In 2009, at the Russian Presidential Academy of Civil Sciences, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy on the topic “Islam in the Context of Ethnopolitical Processes in Modern Russia”. The official opponents were Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Glagolev V.S. , Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Albakova F. Yu. And Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Mikulsky D.V.

From 2009 until his death, he was a professor at the Department of State-Confessional Relations of the RAGS under the President of the Russian Federation ^[1] .

He died on July 22, 2011 in Moscow. ^{[1] [5]}

Member of the editorial board of the journal “ State, Religion, Church in Russia and Abroad ”. ^[four]

He was fluent in Arabic ^[6] .
