Content

History

It is first mentioned in the Scribe Book of the Vodskaya Pyatina of 1500 in the Ilyinsky Zamozhsky Pogost in Begunitsy, as the village of Bryzgovichi [2] .

Then, like the wasteland Brisgoua Ödhe in Zamozhsky churchyard in the Swedish "Scribe books of Izhora land" in 1618-1623 [3] .

On the map of Ingermanland, A. I. Bergenheim , compiled from Swedish materials in 1676, is indicated as the village of Briskowaby [4] .

On the Swedish "General Map of the Province of Ingermanlandia" of 1704, - as the Briskowa hof manor [5] .

As the village of Briskova, it is mentioned in the “Geographical Drawing of Izhora Land” by Adrian Schonbeck in 1705 [6] .

On the map of the St. Petersburg province of J.F. Schmitt in 1770, Bryzgovskaya Manor is marked [7] .

BRYZGOVO - the village belongs to the wife of Colonel Essen, the number of inhabitants according to the audit: 45 m., 42 w. p. (1838) [8]

As the village of Bryzgalova, it is indicated on the map of F. F. Schubert in 1844 [9] .

In the explanatory text to the ethnographic map of the St. Petersburg province of P. I. Köppen in 1849, the village of Priiskowa ( Bryzgovo ) is mentioned and the number of Savakot Ingermanlanders inhabiting it in 1848 is indicated: 8 m., 9 w. n., a total of 17 people, as well as 50 Russian people [10] .

BRYZGOVO - the village of Madame Essen, on a country road, the number of yards - 15, the number of souls - 32 m. (1856) [11]

According to the 9th revision of 1850, the village of Bryzgovo belonged to the landowner Ashanda Romanovna Essen (Aglaide (Adelaide) Romanovna von Essen (1827—?)) [12] .

According to the “Topographic Map of Parts of St. Petersburg and Vyborg Provinces” of 1860, the village was called Bryzgovo and consisted of 20 peasant households [13] .

BRYZGOVO - the owner's village at the pond, on the left side of the Narva tract from Strelna, 60 versts from Peterhof, the number of yards - 16, the number of inhabitants: 35 m., 32 railways. Clause (1862) [14]

In 1870, temporarily liable peasants of the village bought their land allotments from A. R. Velio and became the owners of the land [15] .

In the XIX century, the village administratively belonged to the Begunitsky volost of the 1st camp of the Peterhof district of St. Petersburg province, at the beginning of the XX century - the 2nd camp.

From 1917 to 1920, the village of Russkoye Bryzgovo was part of the Bryzgovsky village council of the Begunitsky volost of Peterhof district .

Since 1921, as part of the Begunitsky village council.

Since 1923, as part of the Gatchina district .

Since 1927, as part of the Volosovsky district.

In 1928, the population of the village of Bryzgovo was 201 people [16] .

According to 1933, the village of Bryzgovo was part of the Begunitsky village council of the Volosovsky district [17] .

According to the topographic map of 1938, the village was called Bryzgova and consisted of 35 yards.

Since 1963, in the Kingisepp district .

Since 1965, again as part of the Volosovsky district [16] .

According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village was called Russkoy Bryzgovo and was also part of the Begunitsky village council [18] [19] [20] .

In 1997, 5 people lived in the village of Russkoye Bryzgovo , in 2002 - 16 people (Russians - 87%), in 2007 - 5 [21] [22] [23] .

Geography

The village is located in the northern part of the region east of the highway 41K-014 ( Volosovo - Kernovo).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 2 km [23] .

The distance to the nearest railway station Volosovo is 23 km [18] .
