History
The village of Nurma is mentioned on the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834 [2] .
NURMA - a village, belongs to Colonel Alexander Dubyansky, the number of inhabitants according to the audit: 40 m. p. (1838) [3]
The village of Nurma is indicated on the map of Professor S. S. Kutorgi in 1852 [4] .
NUREMA - the village of Mr. Balashov, along the postal road and other roads, the number of yards - 15, the number of souls - 47 m. (1856) [5]
The number of inhabitants of the village according to the Xth revision of 1857: 48 m. paragraph [6] .
NURMA - the owner's village at the wells, the number of yards - 19, the number of inhabitants: 48 m., 47 railways. p. (1862) [7]
According to the home census of 1882, 27 families lived in the village, number of inhabitants: 89 m., 83 w. P.; the category of peasants - owners of land [6] .
At the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries, the village was part of the Shapkinsky volost of the 1st camp of the Shlisselbur district of St. Petersburg province.

In 1913, the village of Nurma numbered 32 peasant households [8] .
After the revolution, she was a member of the Shapkinsky village council of the Tosno district .
From 1917 to 1923, the village of Nurma was part of the Nurminsky village council of the Shapkinsky volost of the Shlisselburg district .

According to 1933, the village of Nurma was part of the Estonian National Village Council of the Tosnensky District, which included 8 settlements: the villages of Gorki, Zhar-Zhino, Igolino, Kontul, Necheyurt, Nurma , Pendikovo and the Estonian village, with a total population of 1,466 people. The administrative center of the settlement was the Estonian village [10] .
Since 1939, as part of the Shapkinsky Village Council [9] .
The village was liberated from Nazi occupation on January 23, 1944.
In 1958, the population of the village of Nurma was 317 people [9] .
According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Nurma was also part of the Shapkinsky Village Council [11] [12] [13] .
In 1974, the Vostochny pig-breeding state farm was organized in the village, and the Tosnensky feed mill was commissioned in 1975 - this served as an incentive in the development of the village.
In 1997, 3690 people lived in the village of Nurma, Shapkinskoy volost, in 2002 - 3272 people (Russians - 91%) [14] [15] .
Since January 1, 2006, in accordance with the regional law No. 116-oz dated December 22, 2004 “On establishing borders and providing the appropriate status of the municipality of the Tosnensky municipal district and municipalities in its composition”, the village is the center of the Nurminsky rural settlement [16] .
In 2007, the population of the village of Nurma Nurminsky joint venture amounted to 3198 people [17] .
Geography
The village is located in the northern part of the district on the highway 41А-003 ( Kempolovo - Vyra - Shapki ).
The Igolinka River flows east of the village and Lake Pendikovskoye is located [18] .
The distance to the village of Shapki is 12 km [15] .
