Story
The main plot of the game is inspired by Robert Rodriguez 's film " From Dusk Till Dawn " [3] .
Keith J. Snyder, a young policeman, is assigned a bodyguard for several VIPs at an event at the Desert Moon horror casino dedicated to its opening. At some point, a fire breaks out in the casino and black water begins to flow from the sprinklers, instantly turning people into vampires. Now Keith must find a way out of the casino and try to save as many people as possible by spraying them with white water and thereby giving them a human face again.
Gameplay
The gameplay is very similar to the early games of the Resident Evil series, so much so that the game was called a "clone" in this regard [1] . Despite the great similarity of the gameplay, the game still has some differences. The main one is the player’s duty to turn as many vampires back into humans as possible. For this purpose, the player is given a special anesthetic gun, which needs to lull the vampires, and then spray them with white water to give them the old, human appearance. However, the player can ignore this method and kill vampires from more powerful weapons. As the game progresses, more serious enemies appear: giant monsters similar to mantis, werewolves, giant vampire bats, slug-like monsters, mutant frogs (which are very similar to hunters from the same Resident Evil series) and others. They can no longer be dispensed with with one anesthetic gun and will have to use firearms in full swing.
The game has its own "currency": J-chips for gambling, such as slot machines, roulette, card games and others. In his free time, the player can play them, however, in the first half of the game, almost the entire building is de-energized and first you have to turn on the power, which takes up a considerable part of wandering around the game levels. In some vending machines you can buy drink or food, replenishing health, as well as a bottle that allows you to combine several packages of drink to save slots in your inventory.
The inventory system is similar to the system from the games of the Resident Evil series: the number of items carried by the player is limited to 16 cells. The paradox is that the key can take up as much space as, for example, a sawn-off shotgun or a machine gun. However, keys after their use are automatically thrown out of inventory. Also, unnecessary things at the time of going through can be “downloaded” to the computer and left them there until the next stay. You can also save progress there, as well as read game mail, which is not useful information. Much more important are the files and documents that the main character will find throughout the game. They occupy a separate place in the inventory.
