Oxfordshire Site List

This is a list of sites of special scientific importance (UONZ) in the territory of Oxfordshire.

Special protected status is obtained by nature monuments of biological and geological significance in accordance with special selection rules. In England, is responsible for assigning the status of a site of special scientific importance , whose experts evaluate whether this area is of particular interest because of its fauna , flora , geological, physical-geographical or geomorphological features. Natural England was established on October 1, 2006 as a result of the merger of three organizations - , and ; she received all their powers, in particular on assigning status to territories of special scientific significance [1] .

The data presented in the list are sorted in alphabetical order of the original names in English.
