Athletics competitions at the 1924 Summer Olympics were held from July 6 to 13 at the Yves du Manoir stadium. Only men participated in the competitions, 659 people from 40 countries of the world.
The events around the 100, 200 and 400 meters races are dedicated to the film “ Chariots of Fire ”, which was awarded the Oscar for the best film in 1982.
