Biography

In 1884 he graduated from the Naval College. He commanded the destroyers No. 80, No. 90 (1891), the destroyer Podvizhny (1905), the steamer Colchis (1906-1907), the training vessel Prince Pozharsky (1907-1908), and the Sveaborg Naval Company (1908-1909).

Assistant commander (1909-1914), and then commander (1914-1917) of the port of Sveaborg.

Killed by sailors in Sveaborg during the events of the February Revolution . Together with Protopopov, a young shipbuilding engineer L.G. Kirillov, who was walking with him, was killed.
