Biography

Hiroshi Sasabuchi, the former drummer of the Japanese visual kei from Plastic Tree, formed Tokyo Shoegazer with the goal of playing one concert at his birthday event. To do this, he brought together: Kiyomi Watanabe from KARA , koldcake - vocals, guitar, Yoshi - guitarist and the k - bass player. On the night before the performance, they recorded several songs and presented O-WEST at their Shibuya event as their first demo CD. In 2011, the demo album was a success in Japan and was completely sold out.

After playing several concerts, in the same year the group decided to record their first full-length album. The album was called "crystallize" and was released under the label 299 Japan Record on November 23. In December, the first official PV of the song “Bright” was released.

The group released their second studio album in May 2013. Many Japanese musicians worked on the recording, including Miya ( Mucc ) as a sound engineer , Sakurai Ao ( cali ≠ gari ) - the lyrics of the song “Fragments” [1] and others. [2]

November 18, 2013, on its website , the group announced the collapse.
