Pyotr Alekseevich Isleniev (1740s - November 2, 1826 ) - Lieutenant General [1] of the Russian Imperial Army from the Isleniev family.

The son of Colonel Alexei Vasilyevich Isleniev (d. 1780) from his first marriage [2] . Cousin of the influential Countess Anna Chernysheva . In 1768 - lieutenant of the Life Guards of the Horse Regiment, later a colonel. He participated in many campaigns of A.V. Suvorov , distinguished himself during the assault on Ishmael .
From 10.26.1794, Major General . In the period 03.12.1796 - 07.03.1798 was the chief of the Taganrog Dragoon Regiment . According to F. Vigel , Isleniev was “courageous and enterprising, tall and broad-shouldered. Partly Suvorov attributed his incredible courage to the successful assault on Prague ” [3] .
He was awarded the Order of St. George of the 4th degree (No. 959; November 26, 1792 ) and 3rd degree (No. 113, October 26, 1794 ) - “ In respect of the diligent service and excellent courage shown to him on September 6 under Kupchitsa and On the 8th, at Brest, against the Polish rebels, where he, commanding the left wing of the cavalry, attacked and defeated a large enemy . ”
He died on November 2, 1826 in Tula, and was buried in the All Saints Cemetery.
Family
He was married to Elizaveta Petrovna Khrushcheva (1747-1810), cousin of E. R. Dashkova ; daughters of Peter Mikhailovich Khrushchev and Daria Illarionovna Vorontsova (1713-1765). The marriage was unhappy, and the couple lived separately. Married to the children of Alexei and Anna (1770-1847), who was brought up in the house of Princess Dashkova, was married to Senator Alexei Fedorovich Malinovsky (1762-1840). Ms. Malinovskaya took part in Pushkin's matchmaking and was at the wedding the bride's planted mother.
Since 1779, Isleniev lived in a civil marriage with Elizabeth Grigoryevna Grabova , wife of the wealthy landowner Apollon Nikiforovich Kolokoltsev (d. 1815). Having abandoned her husband and five children, she accompanied her lover in all his campaigns [3] . After 16 years left by him, she returned to her husband and children.
