Not to be confused with Moscow Avenue , located in the Eastern Administrative District .

One of the main thoroughfares of the city is the first (historically second [1] ) main entrance to the city from the Leningrad Highway. In 2007, at the intersection of Moskovsky Prospekt and Leningradskoye Highway, a two-level interchange was established - the first in the district [2] . At the end of 2014, it was reconstructed through a new nameless road, almost 3 km in length, the avenue received access to a partially open M11 highway (the “new” Leningradka) [3] .

The entire length of Moscow Avenue is four-lane (two lanes in each direction); on the main stretch (900 m long), the directions of movement are separated by a strip of greenery.

On the right side of the avenue, there is an adjacent passage 5253, Yunost Street , an unnamed passage into the interior of the 3rd microdistrict, Savyolkinsky passage ; on the left - Nikolsky passage , a pedestrian section of the avenue Forest Ponds , a nameless passage deep into the 6th microdistrict.

Transportation

  • On the section from Leningradskoye Shosse to Yunost Street (Moskovsky Prospect stop), bus routes No. 2, 10, 12, 400/400E pass along the avenue. For all routes except 400 / 400E there is a stop only in the direction of Yunost Street and Pine Alley.
  • On the section from Yunost Street to Savyolkinsky Passage (“Sport School” and “Palace of Culture” stops) - № 1 (towards Yunost Street), 2, 7, 10, 15 (on weekends), 19, 27, 400/400E ( in the direction of the Leningrad highway).

Notes

  1. ↑ Historically, the first main entrance was Panfilovsky Prospect at 40/41 km.
  2. ↑ The overpass on Leningradka will be opened by the end of the week // Infoportal of Zelenograd, September 4, 2007
  3. ↑ Departure from Zelenograd to the M11 highway is promised to be opened no earlier than December 25 // Zelenograd.ru, December 24, 2014
