- Not to be confused with Moscow Avenue , located in the Eastern Administrative District .
One of the main thoroughfares of the city is the first (historically second [1] ) main entrance to the city from the Leningrad Highway. In 2007, at the intersection of Moskovsky Prospekt and Leningradskoye Highway, a two-level interchange was established - the first in the district [2] . At the end of 2014, it was reconstructed through a new nameless road, almost 3 km in length, the avenue received access to a partially open M11 highway (the “new” Leningradka) [3] .
The entire length of Moscow Avenue is four-lane (two lanes in each direction); on the main stretch (900 m long), the directions of movement are separated by a strip of greenery.
On the right side of the avenue, there is an adjacent passage 5253, Yunost Street , an unnamed passage into the interior of the 3rd microdistrict, Savyolkinsky passage ; on the left - Nikolsky passage , a pedestrian section of the avenue Forest Ponds , a nameless passage deep into the 6th microdistrict.
Transportation
- On the section from Leningradskoye Shosse to Yunost Street (Moskovsky Prospect stop), bus routes No. 2, 10, 12, 400/400E pass along the avenue. For all routes except 400 / 400E there is a stop only in the direction of Yunost Street and Pine Alley.
