Biography

Ivan Oreshko was born on January 19, 1906 in the village of Rodionovka in the Bakhmut district [3] of the Yekaterinoslav province [1] [2] .

Orphaned early, worked for a wage. From the age of 12 (in 1918 ) he began working as an apprentice fitter in the Liman Depot of the North-Donetsk Railway. [four]

In 1920-1926 he worked as a locksmith, assistant driver on the railways of Donbass . In 1922 he joined the Komsomol , since 1926 a member of the CPSU (b). [5]

After graduating from the Artyomovsk regional concurrent school and one-year military courses in Sevastopol, from 1929 he worked as the head of the cultural propagation [4] of the Liman district committee of the Communist Party (b) U, the secretary of the party committee of the Konstatinovsky Zinc Plant, the Voroshilov Toretsky Plant in Druzhkovka , the Chasov-Yarsky quarry office in Artemovsk . In 1936 he was elected 2 secretary of the Artyomovsky city committee of the CP (b) U. [3]

In 1938 he became 2 secretary of the Starobelsky district committee of the Communist Party (b) of Ukraine. From June 7, 1938 to 1939, 2 Secretary of the Voroshilovgrad Regional Committee of the Communist Party (b) of Ukraine. He was removed from office in connection with the arrest. Then he was released [1] . In 1940 he worked as the head of the Voroshilovgrad regional land department. [3]

During the Great Patriotic War during the period of German occupation, "he performed special tasks of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks." [3]

From August 1943 to November 6, 1947, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Voroshilovgrad Regional Council [1] [2] .

From 1946 to November 6, 1947, a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 2nd convocation.

November 6, 1947 died in a car accident in Voroshilovgrad [1] [2] .

Memory

In 1957, a tombstone was installed in Lugansk on Revolution Square. [2]

Rewards

He was awarded the medal " Partisan of the Patriotic War " of 1 degree, " For the victory over Germany ", " For valiant labor in the Great Patriotic War ." [3]
