Jazz-Iz-Christ is the debut studio album of the project of American singer Serge Tankian Jazz-Iz-Christ. The record was released on July 23, 2013 [2] . It was originally planned that the album will resemble more gothic rock , but later it was jazz that was chosen [3] .

About the album
Jazz-Iz-Christ consists of 15 songs, of which 10 without vocals [4] . The song “Garuna” was performed by the famous Armenian composer Komitas .
Each song in the album was created jointly with jazz artists and musicians, among them: Valerie Tolstov, Tigran Hamasyan, Vincent Pedulla, Jean Del Sesto and others. The recording was assisted by guitarist and musician Troy Zegler, who worked with Serge on the recording of his first album, Elect the Dead .
