Career

Club

As a footballer, Yelle Gus played for 10 years for the club of the lowest Dutch division “ SV Heusen ” from the city of the same name . From 1988 to 1992 he played for the " GVV Venendaal ."

Coaching

After the end of his football career, he stayed to work at the Veenendaal club, which coached for 3 years. In 1996-2001, Jelle Hus worked at the Royal Netherlands Football Association, was an assistant to the head coach of the Dutch junior team under 14 years old (born 1998) and up to 15 years old (born 1999), in 1999 he led the Dutch team for UEFA Cup of Regions in the age category up to 23 years. In 2000, he joined Arno Pipers as an assistant to the Estonian national team. On October 2, 2004, Pipers took over the reins of the national team, where he worked until June 29, 2007, taking the highest 4th place in the selection for the 2006 World Cup with the national team. In August 2008, he headed the youth team of the Moscow CSKA [1] . In 2010, he transferred to the job of the head of the PSV Academy. In September 2012, he signed a contract with Makhachkala “ Anji ” and since October of that year he headed the club’s football academy. [2] In November 2013, he left the club from Dagestan. [3] . Soon it became known that Gus will take over the post of technical director of the Netherlands Football Union [4] .

Rewards

In February 2008, Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves awarded the former national team coach Hus and Pipers with the Order of the Cross of the Land of Mary [5] [6] .
