DescriptionBiology is poorly researched, it is only known that they are inhabitants of the desert, nest in the ground and hunt thrips (Cazenas, 1991). Clypeus with a pair of teeth along the anterior margin. The antenna attachment sites are shifted far forward and practically in contact with the front-clypeal suture. The inner edges of the eyes are not cut, distant from each other. The mandibular palpi are 5-segmented, and the lower-labial consist of 3 segments. The shoulder mounds are in contact with the wing caps. The third submarginal wing cell is greatly reduced and not larger than the second [3] [4] .
SystematicsThe species was originally described in 1991 by a Kazakh hymenopterologist Vladimir Loginovich Kazenas ( Alma-Ata ) under the name Taukumia budrysi Kazenas, 1991 and was named after the Lithuanian wasp specialist Edwardas Budris (Eduardas R. Budrys, Vilnius ). In 1992, the American entomologist V. Pulavsky transferred it to the genus Eremiasphecium [1] [2] [4] .
