Career
His professional career began at Eibar Football Club, including his tenancy at Baracaldo , after which Ansotegi moved to the Basque club giant Real Sociedad . On January 22, 2006, he made his debut in a derby match against Athletic Bilbao , ending the season with 33 matches played.
Ansotegi missed only 2 games of the season - 2009/10 . During this time, he scored 4 goals, and Real Sociedad returned to the first division after a three-year absence. In the next campaign of the club, he participated in 32 games. The club maintained its status in La League.
